Timothée Chalamet's quest for greatness does not involve a stunt double.
The 29-year-old actor took all his own hits in the table-tennis drama "Marty Sumpreme," according to costar Kevin O'Leary. In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, O'Leary, who hits Chalamet with a paddle during a scene in the movie, said the "Little Women" actor refused to have a stand-in.
"That's really Chalamet … he didn't want the stunt double," O'Leary, 71, told the outlet. "I said, 'Timmy, I'm going to have to belt (you) … are you sure you want to do this?'"

Timothée Chalamet makes ping-pong cool in 'Marty Supreme' – Review
"He immortalized his (butt) on film for the rest of time. That scene freaks me out even now," O'Leary, who plays businessman Milton Rockwell in the film, told THR.
The scene in question revolves around Chalamet's character Marty Mauser, receiving a paddling from Rockwell in exchange for a ticket to Japan to play in a closely watched ping-pong match.

Directed by Josh Safdie and co-produced by Chalamet, "Marty Supreme" hit theaters in the U.S. on Christmas Day and has already begun to rake in rave reviews.
Along with O'Leary, who makes his acting debut in the film, "Marty" boasts a star-studded cast. Gwyneth Paltrow stars as Kay Stone, a retired actress and socialite who becomes Chalamet's love interest in the movie, and Tyler, the Creator plays his loyal sidekick.
