A man planned his perfect day off for weeks, deciding he wanted to watch movies and play games
However, the day of, his girlfriend decided to work from home and said she needed "quiet"
"I said I'd still be doing what I had planned so she could either accept the noise or work somewhere else," he wrote on Reddit
One man was really looking forward to his day off, planning to spend the day watching horror movies and playing games — but his girlfriend had other ideas.
In a Reddit post, the man shared that his girlfriend knew about his plan to lay low for weeks. While she usually works from home, she initially told him that she would work in his home office or at a nearby café so he could have the day to himself.
Then, all of a sudden, her plan changed.

"She's been feeling low for a while and can get quite snappy at times. Today she isn't feeling great and mentioned she was going to work in the living room as she doesn't want to go into town and she doesn't want to use the home office," the man wrote. "She mentioned that I wouldn't be able to watch movies or play games as she needs to make calls and would need quiet."
"I told her if she can't have noise to work in another room since I'm not cancelling what I have planned. I said she knew what I was planning for today and she can't expect me to just waste my day off," the man wrote.

The man told his girlfriend that she was messing with his plans out of spite just because she was having a bad day.
"I said I'd still be doing what I had planned so she could either accept the noise or work somewhere else," he wrote. "She said I wasn't being fair towards her and that she has to work. I said I'm not stopping her working, I'm just not cancelling my plans."
People in the comments section agreed with the man and pointed out that her behavior was uncalled for.
"For sure she's doing it on purpose and all it does is make her look like a bitter jealous person. Definitely keep your plans and turn the volume up a bit louder than you normally would," one person commented.
"Plans are in place, she needs to get on with it. But, does she often sabotage things when she's feeling bad so you do too? If she does then you need to think hard on if this relationship is a good one," another person commented.
